Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal Group is an independent, private company with a shareholder base of 45 leading businesses, corporations and investors from 10 Arab countries. The group encompasses a number of business divisions that include 4 publications and an event management and conferencing unit.

The company began operations in 1979 with Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal, a pan-Arab business and economic magazine covering the public and private sectors. The magazine was a pioneer in this endeavor and quickly gained favor among decision-makers in the region for providing an alternative to Arab readers with its audience-specific coverage.

The Investment Development Authority of Lebanon (IDAL), is Lebanon’s national investment promotion agency that was established with the aim of promoting Lebanon as a key investment destination, and attracting, facilitating, and retaining investments in the country. It provides foreign and local investors alike with business support services, market intelligence, and a range of financial and non-financial incentives that could be useful during the operation phase of your project.

These incentives apply to new projects or expansion projects that fall within specific sectors with a high growth and job generation prospect. These sectors include the traditional sectors such as Agriculture, Agro-Industry, Industry and Tourism, in addition to the new emerging and innovative sectors such as Information Technology, Technology, Telecommunication, and Media.

أنشئت المؤسسة العامة لتشجيع الاستثمارات في لبنان "إيدال" في العام ١٩٩٤ بهدف ترويج لبنان كوجهة جذابة للأعمال وجذب الاستثمارات وتقديم المساندة لها والحفاظ عليها. ومع إصدار القانون 360 لتشجيع الاستثمارات في لبنان في العام ٢٠٠١، تم تعزيز دور المؤسسة لتوفر الخدمات والتسهيلات اللازمة للمستثمرين. وقد حدّد هذا القانون عدداً من القطاعات الهدف التي تتمتع بمقومات لاستقطاب الاستثمار وتحقيق النموّ الاقتصادي والاجتماعي.

تشمل القطاعات الهدف: الصناعة والزراعة والتصنيع الزراعي والسياحة والمعلومات والاتصالات والتكنولوجيا والاعلام.

بالإضافة إلى دورها كمؤسسة لتشجيع الاستثمارات، تهتم "إيدال" أيضا بالترويج لصادرات القطاعات الإنتاجية لاسيما الصناعات الغذائية والزراعة. تتمتع "إيدال" بالاستقلالية المالية والإدارية وترتبط برئيس مجلس الوزراء الذي يمارس سلطة الوصاية عليها.
