As a registered attendee or participant of Event (any event organized by Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal) you agree to these terms and conditions (collectively, this “Agreement”) with Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal. If you are completing the registration on behalf of another individual, or group, you warrant that you have made the attendee(s) or participant(s) aware of this (their) Agreement and that each accepted these terms and conditions.
Applicable fees are due upon registration. If payment is insufficient or declined for any reason, Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal may refuse to admit you and shall have no resulting liability.
Fees may be subject sales tax, value added tax, or other taxes and duties, which, if applicable, will be charged to you in addition to the fees. Once you have registered, your fees will not be adjusted downward based on any sponsorship, discount or any other reason.
No discount codes will be honored for onsite attendance. Discount codes may not be used with certain promotions.
A delegate unable to attend may be represented by another executive of the same company. For substitutions, please contact us with the new attendee's name and contact information
75% of the fee will be refunded in case of cancellations 45 days prior to event’s date.
50% of the fee will be refunded in case of cancellations anytime between 14 and 44 days prior to event’s date.
No refund is possible in case cancellations occur 13 days prior to event’s date.
Speakers are not required to purchase a conference registration. Further, session hosts are responsible for any costs associated with speakers in their session. We do not provide free passes for support staff of speakers, such as PR professionals.
If your company is a sponsor of the Event and you receive sponsor passes as part of your sponsorship, speakers’ support staff may choose to register using a Sponsor Pass.
Sponsorship benefits are listed in the sponsorship package and are agreed upon based on the contract signed between both parties Sponsors’ complementary passes include access to all registration materials, and all Event sessions and networking events (other than sessions and networking events that are private). In addition to your regular attendees and speakers from your organization, passes are intended to cover support personnel, public relations support staff, executive assistants, clients you invite to the event.
All Event Passes are subject to the above terms and conditions
If for any reason, we are unable to deliver any of the Sponsorship Benefits, we will inform you as soon as reasonably practicable. In such circumstances we may, acting reasonably, provide you with alternative benefits in respect of the same Event to an equivalent value of the relevant Sponsorship Benefits without any liability to you.
In consideration of us providing the Sponsorship Benefits, you shall pay to us the Sponsorship Fee (as set out on the agreement/contract) in accordance with the Payment Schedule (as set out on the Agreement/Contract). Payment shall be made to the account specified on the invoice, and is exclusive of any applicable sales tax, which shall be paid by you at the rate from time to time in force.
We grant to you, during the term of this Agreement, and in accordance with the terms and conditions herein the Sponsorship Benefits identified in the agreement and a non-transferable, non-exclusive, royalty-free, limited licence to use the Event logos and trademarks provided to you solely to promote your sponsorship of the Event.
You grant to us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable licence to use your logos and trade marks (the “Sponsor Marks”) provided to us during the term of the Agreement to promote and exploit the Event; and following the Event in any report produced about the Event and in any promotional materials for similar events, as well as for archival purposes.
In the event that you change the Sponsor Marks at any time during the term of the Agreement, you agree that we shall not be obliged to make any consequential changes to materials that include the Sponsor Marks produced by us or on your behalf for or in connection with the Event (including, but not limited to, reprinting promotional literature or publicity materials) unless you agree in writing in advance to meet the costs and expenses incurred by us arising from such change.
Sponsorships DO NOT include any costs of materials, production or labor.
Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal retains the right to alter the advertised content, timing, date and/or location of the Event. We reserve the right to do this at any time and without liability to you, provided that the Event, as altered, is substantially similar to Event as originally advertised. We will provide you with notice of any alterations as soon as is reasonably practicable.
Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal reserves the right to cancel the Event at any time and will provide the sponsor with notice of the same as soon as is reasonably practicable.
In the event that Al-Iktissad Wal-Aamal cancels the Event or materially alter the advertised content, timing, date and/or location of the Event, you shall be entitled to either a credit for a future event held by us of your choice (up to the value of sums paid by you in respect of the Event) or terminate this Agreement with immediate effect and obtain a refund (calculated by us in good faith) of an amount that reflects the total sums paid by you at the date of cancellation minus the value of any Sponsorship Benefits received by you prior to the date of cancellation.
