- H.E. Dr. Azour is the Director of the Middle East and Central Asia Department at the International Monetary Fund
- He served as Lebanon’s Finance Minister during 2005-2008, during which he coordinated the implementation of important reforms, including modernizing the country’s tax and customs systems.
- He held leading positions in McKinsey, Booz and Co., and Inventis Partners.
- He holds a PhD in International Finance from Harvard, and a post-graduate degree in International Economics and Finance from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris. Mr. Azour has published several books and articles on economic and financial issues.

- شغل سابقا منصب وزير المالية في لبنان خلال الأعوام 2005-2008، حيث نسق تنفيذ الإصلاحات الهامة بما في ذلك تحديث نظم الضرائب والجمارك.
- شغل العديد من المناصب العليا في القطاع الخاص بما في ذلك Inventis Partners، وشركة ماكنزي وشركة بوز أند كو.
- حائز على شهادة الدكتوراه في التمويل الدولي من جامعة هارفارد في الولايات المتحدة، وشهادة الماجستير في الاقتصاد والتمويل الدولي من معهد الدراسات السياسية في باريس. له العديد من الكتب والمقالات حول القضايا الاقتصادية والمالية.

H.E. Khalil has been the Minister of Finance since 2014

He previously was Minister of Public Health and Minister of Agriculture

In 1996, he was elected as a Parliament member and then reelected in 2000, 2005 and 2009. He was as well a member of the following parliamentary committees: National Defense, Municipalities, The Displaced, Youth and Sport, Administration and Justice, Finance and Budget.

He is the President of the Alumni of the Faculty of Law, Administrative and Political Sciences since 1993

He holds a Bachelor Degree in Law from the Lebanese University and has practiced the law profession, currently being an Attorney at law.

يشغل منصب وزير المالية من عام 2014

شغل قبل ذلك منصب وزير الصحة العامة من عام 2011 حتى 2014، ووزير الزراعة بين عامي 2003 و2004.

انتخب نائبا في العام 1996 وأعيد انتخابه في العام 2000 و2005 و2009. كما أنه كان عضوا في اللجان البرلمانية التالية: لجنة الدفاع الوطني والداخلية والبلديات ولجنة شؤون المهجرين ولجنة الشباب والرياضة ولجنة الإدارة والعدل ولجنة المال والموازنة.

هو رئيس جمعية خريجي كلية الحقوق والعلوم السياسية والإدارية منذ العام 1993

حائز على إجازة في الحقوق من الجامعة اللبنانية في العام 1992 ومارس مهنة المحاماة وهو حاليا محام بالاستئناف

يترأس قسم الأبحاث لدى بنك عودة، ويعتبر مرجعاً في مجال الاقتصاد وقطاعات النشاط في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا.

تولى مناصب ومهام تعليمية عديدة في الجامعة اللبنانية الأميركية والجامعة الأميركية في بيروت، وحاضر في عدد كبير من المؤتمرات والندوات في لبنان ومنطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا وأوروبا والولايات المتحدة الأميركية.

حاصل على إجازة وماجستير في إدارة الأعمال من الجامعة الأميركية في بيروت، ودكتوراه في العلوم الاقتصادية من جامعة ليدز (LEEDS) في بريطانيا.

Dr. Makram Sader is currently the Secretary General of the Association of Banks in Lebanon.

He is a board member of Caisse Nationale de la Sécurité Sociale (CNSS) and member of the Lebanese Economic & Social Council and member of the Lebanese Economic & Social Council.

He also acted as Chairman of Lebanon’s Banking Commission.

Dr. Sader began his career as a professor of economics at the Lebanese University while carrying out several studies as a full time researcher at CERMOC.

He holds a Ph.D in Economics from the University of Grenoble-France.

الأمين العام، جمعية مصارف لبنان
يشغل د. مكرم صادر حاليا منصب أمين عام جمعية مصارف لبنان.

هو عضو مجلس إدارة الصندوق الوطني للضمان الاجتماعي و مجلس رجال الأعمال اللبناني السرياني وعضو المجلس الاقتصادي والاجتماعي اللبناني. كما عمل رئيسا للجنة المصرفية في لبنان.

بدأ د. صادر حياته المهنية أستاذا للاقتصاد في الجامعة اللبنانية أثناء تأدية العديد من الدراسات كباحث متفرغ في CERMOC.

حاصل على درجة الدكتوراه في الاقتصاد من جامعة غرونوبل، فرنسا.

The President of the Council of Ministers in Lebanon, HE Mr. Tamam Salam has lauded Mr. Berri’s patronage of the conference especially that he is among the leading officials who give major importance and attention to emigration. HE Mr. Salam emphasized the government’s interest in and support for the conference

أثنى دولة رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأستاذ تمام سلام على رعاية دولة الرئيس بري للمؤتمر لاسيما وأنه في طليعة المسؤولين الذين يولون الاغتراب أهمية كبيرة. وأكد الرئيس سلام إهتمام الحكومة ودعمها للمؤتمر.
